How can I change the polarity of the screem jog buttons to match the actual machine motion? In my case, The Y axis jog buttons match the machine motion but the X is opposite. X To the left is Positive and to the right is negative direction. The motor and display are all correct but the jog buttons are unnatural to use because they operate backwards on this machine.
How can I change them, I would also need the keyboard buttons to follow suit.

Hi AZ,

To do that you would need to modify KMotionCNC.  It doesn't seem right that that the Jog buttons work for everyone else but not on your system.  A common misconception is regarding the way most milling machines operate in that the tables move instead of the cutting tool.  It is like drawing with a pen on a piece of paper.  To draw a line to the right (+X) you can either move the pen to the right or the table to the left.  Could this be your issue?

Tom:

When standing in front facing the machine the X+  table motion is to the left and Y+ table motion is up (away from the operator)
Y + is the up button and the table moves in the physical direction of the button but the X+ jog is the right button but the table moves to the left.

Upon reviewing the Cartesian coordinate standards one of the axes on this machine is backwards.  I'm told that this is how it was programmed on the original control.

I guess I'm going to ask the customer to start using the Cartesian coordinate system standard.
